To the line.
To the last detail.

We run millwork the way an architect reads a drawing: to the line. HNE brings over 40 years of experience to custom architectural millwork, working from the drawing package through the finished piece.

Molding is central to that work. Our knife inventory and profile-matching capability support custom runs, existing details, and historic matches. We also offer CNC fabrication for cabinet shops, millwork shops, builders, and other trade partners, from custom components to repeat production runs. The material and the finish still matter at every step.

CNC fabrication for the trade.

Need parts cut for your next job? HNE provides CNC fabrication for cabinet shops, millwork shops, builders, and other trade partners. Our ShopSabre IS612 is backed by a full architectural millwork shop, with sliding-table sawing, shaping, and five-head molding capability.

Have ready-to-cut files? We can quote the cutting. Starting with an idea or sketch? We can quote the drawings, programming, and cutting together.

Tell us the material, quantity, and timing. We’ll review the details with you and put together a quote.

Sheet 05 / 06 | Process

The drawing is the contract.

A clear set. An approved sample. A shared understanding of what leaves the shop.

  1. 01

    Measure

Site measure or a drawing package. We record the out-of-square, the plaster, and the existing profiles before anyone cuts a stick.

  2. 02

    Shop drawings

Elevations, sections, and joinery. CNC programs are derived from the approved set, not the other way around.

  3. 03

    Program & tool

We grind or buy the knives, write the toolpaths, and cut a sample when the profile is new.

  4. 04

    Mill & finish

Solid stock, veneered panels, or paint-grade builds. The last pass is still a hand.

  5. 05

    Pickup or delivery

We’ll coordinate pickup or delivery to suit your project.
